BUSMVA Reunion 2010

during the first week of August 2010 the Berlin U. S. Military Veterans Association (BUSMVA) had their reunion in Berlin at the Hotel Steglitz International.

More than 300 participants (former members of the Berlin-Brigade) joined the events:

the Welcome Dinner, City Tour by bus, visiting the Reichstag building, City Boat Tour, Potsdam castle and park, Allied Museum, McNair Museum with picnic, and the Farewell Dinner.
Some started the Add On Tour on Sunday (August 8)

I am proud to be a member of this great organization and that I could enjoy also this Reunion as well as the Reunion here in Berlin in 2006. I was employed as

civilian by the U.S. Army Berlin from May 1968 to December 1993. I did my job at the Directorate of Engineering & Housing (DEH).
 




The Hotel On Friday (July 30) I met the first members at the hotel bar.

Sachsenhausen On Monday, some of us visited the former Concentration Camp Sachsenhausen near Oranienburg.

Welcome Dinner On Monday (August 2), there was Welcome Dinner at the Hotel in Steglitz.

City Tour On Tuesday (August 3) we made the City Bus Tour with a stop at the Reichstag building.

Allied Museum On Friday the 6th of August we visited the Allied Museum at Clayallee.

McNair Museum On the afternoon of the 6th of August we went to the McNair Museum.

Farewell Dinner The Farewell Dinner was on Saturday (August 7) at the hotel in Steglitz.
